Eko Atlantic City operates a controlled visitor access system to ensure that guests, service providers, contractors, and other non-resident visitors can enter the city safely and efficiently. Visitors are expected to have a valid access authorisation from the resident, property owner, business, or other authorised person they are visiting.
Visitor Authorisation
Residents, property owners, businesses, and other authorised users are responsible for registering or authorising their expected visitors through the designated EACML access control process. The information provided should be accurate and sufficient to enable security personnel to identify and verify the visitor at the point of entry.
OTP Gate Pass
For eligible visits, the host may generate an OTP Gate Pass through the Municipal Portal and provide the OTP to the intended visitor. The visitor must present the valid OTP at the designated access point for verification before entry is granted.
Verification at the Gate
All visitors are subject to access verification at designated entry points. Security personnel may verify the visitor's details, the host or destination, and the validity of the applicable access credential before permitting entry.
Events and Multiple Guests
Residents, businesses, or property owners expecting a large number of guests for events or gatherings should make use of the appropriate event or bulk visitor access arrangements provided by EACML. This allows visitor information and access requirements to be managed in a structured manner and helps minimise delays at the gates.
Host Responsibility
The person authorising a visitor is responsible for ensuring that access is granted only to legitimate guests and that the information submitted is accurate. Hosts should not share access credentials with unauthorised persons or permit their visitor access arrangements to be misused.
Access Restrictions
A visitor may be denied or delayed entry where the access credential is invalid, expired, does not correspond with the visitor, or where additional security requirements have not been satisfied. EACML security personnel may also restrict access where necessary to protect the safety and security of the city.
Visitor Conduct
All visitors are required to comply with EACML municipal, security, traffic, environmental, and other applicable requirements while within Eko Atlantic City. The host may be held responsible for ensuring that their guests are aware of and comply with applicable city requirements.
