Access Profiling

Eko Atlantic City's access control system uses different access credentials based on the type of person or vehicle, their relationship with the city, and the purpose of their access. This profiling ensures that residents, property owners, employees, contractors, visitors, and other authorised users are granted the appropriate level of access while maintaining effective security at city entry points.

Property Owners and Residents
Landowners and residents who own flats or villas are primarily identified through their registered E-Tags and EACML QR Identification. Tenant residents may also be assigned these credentials, with their access records linked to their current tenancy and subject to cancellation or updating when their tenancy changes.

Residents' Staff and Household Personnel
Staff, drivers, housekeepers, and other personnel working for residents are identified using an EAC Identification Card. These cards provide personal identification and can be deactivated or updated when an individual's employment or engagement with the resident changes.

Companies and Company Personnel
Employees of companies operating within Eko Atlantic City may be provided with approved vehicle or personal identification credentials, including E-Tags, QR Identification, or EAC Identification Cards, depending on their access requirements. Company administrators or designated representatives are responsible for ensuring that access records remain current when employees join, leave, or change roles.

Contractors and Construction Personnel
Contractor staff requiring regular access may be registered using approved vehicle or personal identification credentials. Contractor workers may be subject to additional access controls, particularly where groups of workers arrive together, while contractor suppliers and delivery personnel may require specific authorisation before entering the city.

Visitors to Residents and Companies
Visitors are granted temporary access based on an invitation from an authorised resident or company. QR invitations generated through the applicable access application provide a controlled method of verifying visitors at the gate and linking the visitor to the person or organisation they are visiting.

Visitors to the Sales Office and Businesses
Visitors to the sales office may use a QR invitation or, where an invitation has not been generated, be verified through the gate's communication process. Visitors to commercial and retail businesses, as well as visitors who do not fall within a defined access category, may require additional verification before entry is authorised.

Company and Other Buses
Buses operated by registered companies may be assigned an E-Tag for controlled access. Other buses or group transportation vehicles require appropriate authorisation and verification, particularly where they are transporting visitors, workers, or guests into the city.

Access Lifecycle Management
Access credentials are linked to the status and relationship of the person or vehicle they are issued to. Where a tenant moves out, an employee leaves an organisation, a contractor's engagement ends, or a vehicle is replaced or transferred, the corresponding access credential should be cancelled, deactivated, or updated.
