Eko Atlantic City operates a controlled access environment to protect residents, businesses, visitors, property, infrastructure, and public spaces. Entry into restricted areas or use of access credentials without proper authorisation is prohibited and may result in access being denied or other applicable enforcement action.
Unauthorised Entry
Individuals and vehicles must not enter controlled areas without the required authorisation or valid access credential. Attempting to enter through a restricted gate, following another vehicle through a controlled access point, or gaining entry through an unauthorised route may be treated as an access violation.
Misuse of Access Credentials
Access credentials, including EAC Identification Cards, E-Tags, Municipal Stickers, and OTP Gate Passes, are issued for specific authorised purposes. They must not be shared, transferred, duplicated, altered, or used by another person or vehicle.
Bypassing Access Controls
Any attempt to circumvent, interfere with, or bypass the city's access control systems is prohibited. This includes attempting to defeat electronic verification systems, using expired or deactivated credentials, presenting false information, or deliberately avoiding designated security checkpoints.
False or Misleading Information
Users must provide accurate information when registering persons, vehicles, visitors, contractors, or vendors for access. Providing false information or using another person's identity or access credentials may result in the relevant access privileges being suspended or revoked.
Security Verification
EACML security personnel are authorised to conduct reasonable verification at designated access points. Individuals may be required to present their identification or access credentials and provide relevant information before access is granted.
Reporting Suspected Violations
Suspected unauthorised access, credential misuse, or attempts to circumvent access controls should be reported promptly to EACML security personnel or through the designated municipal support channels. Prompt reporting helps prevent unauthorised use and supports the security of the wider city.
Access Suspension or Revocation
Where an access violation is identified or suspected, EACML may suspend or deactivate the relevant access credential while the matter is reviewed. Access privileges may be reinstated where appropriate following verification and resolution of the matter.
Compliance and Enforcement
All persons accessing Eko Atlantic City are expected to comply with applicable municipal and security requirements. Unauthorised access, deliberate misuse of access credentials, or attempts to circumvent security controls may result in denial of entry, suspension or revocation of access privileges, and other applicable enforcement measures.
