Service Charge Cycle

The EACML City Service Charge operates on an annual billing cycle, with each charge covering a period of one year. The applicable billing period and payment due date are stated on the invoice issued through the EACML Municipal Portal.

Annual Billing Cycle
The Service Charge is generally billed annually, with each invoice covering the applicable twelve-month service period. Property owners and other liable account holders receive a new invoice for each billing cycle.

2026 Initial Cycle
For the introduction of the City Service Charge, the 2026 billing cycle commenced on June 1, 2026 and covers the period from June 1, 2026 to May 30, 2027.

Subsequent Cycles
Following the initial 2026 cycle, subsequent annual billing periods will be communicated by EACML through the Municipal Portal and other official communication channels. The applicable service period will be clearly stated on each invoice.

Invoice Issuance
Invoices are automatically generated through the Municipal Portal based on the applicable property and billing information. Each invoice will state the relevant billing period, amount payable, invoice date, and payment due date.

Payment Due Date
Payment is due one month after the invoice has been issued, unless otherwise stated on the invoice. Property owners and other liable account holders are expected to settle their invoices within the stated payment period.

Changes During a Billing Cycle
Changes to property ownership, development status, property use, or other relevant account information should be promptly communicated to EACML. Where applicable, such changes may be reviewed and reflected in the relevant billing records.
