All municipal invoices issued through the EACML Municipal Portal are assigned a payment due date based on the date the invoice is generated. Payment is due one month from the date of invoice issuance, unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
Invoice and Due Date
Once an invoice is generated, the Municipal Portal records the applicable billing period, invoice date, amount payable, and payment due date. The specific due date will be clearly stated on the invoice issued to the account holder.
Timely Payment
Property owners, residents, businesses, and other liable parties are expected to settle their invoices on or before the stated due date. Timely payment supports the continued provision and maintenance of municipal services across Eko Atlantic City.
Overdue Payments
Invoices that remain unpaid after the stated due date may be treated as overdue. Late-payment penalties or other applicable enforcement measures may apply in accordance with EACML requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
Payment Confirmation
Payments made through the approved payment channels are recorded against the relevant invoice and account. Users are encouraged to retain their payment confirmation or receipt for their records.
Keeping Track of Payments
Users should regularly check their Municipal Portal account and registered email address for newly issued invoices, payment reminders, and other billing notifications to ensure that payments are made within the applicable timeframe.
