Paying your service charge

The EACML Annual City Service Charge is currently payable through designated EACML bank accounts. Payment details are provided on the invoice issued through the Municipal Portal.

Step 1: Access Your Invoice
Log in to the EACML Municipal Portal and access your Service Charge invoice. Review the invoice details, including the property, amount payable, invoice reference, and payment due date.

Step 2: Confirm the Payment Details
Use only the official EACML bank account details provided on your invoice or through authorized EACML communication channels. Verify the account information carefully before initiating payment.

Step 3: Make the Payment
Make a bank transfer for the exact amount stated on the invoice. Ensure that the appropriate invoice reference or payment identifier is included where required to assist with payment reconciliation.

Step 4: Keep Your Payment Evidence
After completing the transfer, retain your bank payment receipt or transaction confirmation. This serves as evidence of payment and may be required if the payment needs to be verified or reconciled.

Step 5: Payment Verification
Payments are subject to verification and reconciliation against the relevant invoice. Once the payment has been successfully verified, the invoice status will be updated on the Municipal Portal.

If Your Payment Has Not Reflected
If a payment has been made but the invoice continues to show as outstanding, contact the EACML Municipal Services team and provide the invoice reference, payment date, transaction reference, and payment evidence to facilitate verification.

Payment Due Date
Payment is due one month after the invoice is issued, unless a different due date is specifically stated on the invoice. Users are encouraged to make payment within the stipulated period to avoid applicable late-payment consequences.

Future Online Payment
EACML plans to introduce an integrated payment gateway to provide additional electronic payment options through the Municipal Portal. Once available, the approved payment options and instructions will be communicated through official EACML channels.
