Excessive noise and loud music are not permitted where they disturb residents, businesses, visitors, or other users of Eko Atlantic City. All individuals, residents, businesses, and event organisers are expected to keep sound levels within reasonable limits and comply with applicable noise-control requirements.
Avoid Excessive Noise
Music, sound systems, vehicle audio systems, and other sources of noise must not be operated at levels that unreasonably disturb surrounding properties or public spaces.
Respect Residential Areas
Particular consideration should be given to residential areas, especially during evening and night-time hours. Residents and visitors should avoid activities that create excessive noise or interfere with the peace and comfort of neighbouring properties.
Events and Outdoor Activities
Events, parties, outdoor gatherings, and other activities involving amplified sound must be conducted responsibly and in accordance with any applicable approvals, operating conditions, and noise restrictions.
Businesses and Commercial Premises
Businesses using music, public-address systems, generators, machinery, or other noise-producing equipment must ensure that their operations do not create excessive disturbance to surrounding properties and public areas.
Vehicle and Public-Space Noise
Motorists and other road users should avoid unnecessary use of horns, excessively loud vehicle sound systems, and other avoidable sources of noise within the city.
Compliance and Enforcement
Complaints relating to excessive noise may be investigated by the appropriate municipal or security personnel. Where noise is found to be excessive or in breach of applicable requirements, the responsible individual, business, or event organiser may be directed to reduce or stop the activity and may be subject to applicable enforcement measures.
