The EAC Identification Card is an official identification credential issued to eligible persons who require authorised access to Eko Atlantic City. The card assists EACML security and access control personnel in identifying residents, employees, contractors, service providers, and other approved users.
Card Registration and Issuance
Eligible individuals are required to complete the designated registration process before an EAC Identification Card is issued. The card is issued to the registered individual and contains identification details required for verification and access control purposes.
Access and Identification
Cardholders may be required to present or scan their EAC Identification Card at designated access points, security checkpoints, buildings, or other controlled areas. Possession of a card does not automatically grant unrestricted access to all areas of the city; access remains subject to the individual's authorised status and applicable security requirements.
Proper Use
An EAC Identification Card is strictly personal to the individual to whom it is issued and must not be lent, transferred, duplicated, or used by another person. Cardholders are responsible for keeping their cards secure and presenting them when requested by authorised EACML personnel.
Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Cards
Lost, stolen, or damaged cards should be reported promptly to EACML so that the affected card can be deactivated where necessary. A replacement may be issued following the applicable verification and registration process.
Changes in Status
Where a cardholder's employment, residency, tenancy, contractual relationship, or other basis for authorised access changes, the relevant information should be updated with EACML. Cards may be deactivated when the holder is no longer eligible for the access privileges associated with the card.
Security Verification
EACML reserves the right to verify the identity and access status of cardholders at designated entry points and controlled areas. Additional security checks may be conducted where required, even where a valid EAC Identification Card is presented.
Compliance and Responsible Use
Cardholders are expected to comply with all EACML access control, security, and municipal requirements while using their identification cards. Any misuse, falsification, unauthorised transfer, or attempt to circumvent access controls may result in card deactivation and other applicable enforcement measures.
